Organic turmeric is part of Jalhuca’s product range designed for international distribution. We produce and market certified turmeric grown under sustainable practices and with rigorous process control, from origin to market preparation.
Our production is mainly based in Peru, in areas particularly well suited for this crop.
Origin and crop control
Jalhuca’s organic turmeric comes from our own and controlled plantations in Peru. We apply continuous technical monitoring at all stages of cultivation, ensuring traceability, quality, and respect for the environment.
We also operate our own processing and packaging facility, enabling full control over cleaning, grading, and product preparation, ensuring homogeneity and food safety.
Turmeric variety
We work with the Criollo variety, valued for its quality and well suited to the standards required by international markets.
Availability calendar
Organic turmeric is produced approximately 9 to 10 months after planting. This planning allows us to ensure availability throughout much of the year and respond efficiently to the needs of our international customers.
